The story
Behind the Laser Eyes tee
In 2021, bitcoiners across the internet gave their profile pictures glowing laser eyes. This tee keeps the eyes, drops the face and lets the meme speak for itself.
In February 2021, bitcoin fans on Twitter started adding red laser beams to the eyes in their profile photos under the hashtag #LaserRayUntil100K. The plan was to keep the lasers on until bitcoin reached $100,000, a level it first passed in December 2024. Thousands joined in, from anonymous accounts to well-known investors and executives, and the glowing eyes became a lasting symbol of bitcoin conviction. Laser eyes still flash on social media whenever enthusiasm runs high.
Fun for anyone who changed their avatar back in 2021, or wishes they had. The eyes make a bold strip of orange across the top of the chest, and the meme is famous enough that people outside bitcoin often recognize it. Great for meetups and watch parties.

What did #LaserRayUntil100K mean?
It was the hashtag behind the trend: users promised to keep laser eyes on their profile pictures until bitcoin hit $100,000. That level was first reached in December 2024. The shirt remembers the meme; it makes no claim about future prices.
Why are there no faces on the Laser Eyes shirt?
The meme belonged to everyone, so we drew only the eyes and their beams. No celebrity, no avatar, just the symbol itself. It also keeps the print clean and easy to recognize from across a room.
Are the lasers red like in the original meme?
No, everything is printed in the shop's bitcoin orange to match the rest of the collection. The original edits were usually red, but the shape of the beams makes the reference clear at a glance.
