Two ho's for the season, one HODL for the long haul. This Christmas tee is for the bitcoiner who plans to keep their stack right through the holidays and well beyond them.
HODL began as a typo. On December 18, 2013, a BitcoinTalk member posted a thread titled I AM HODLING during a steep price drop, and the misspelling became bitcoin's word for holding through the swings. That post landed exactly one week before Christmas, so swapping the last ho in Santa's laugh for HODL feels almost overdue. The joke works on two levels: a festive greeting for everyone, and a nod to holders who would rather keep their sats than spend them on wrapping paper.
Made for office parties, family dinners and the gift exchange where someone always asks what HODL means. The hat keeps it festive without tinsel or reindeer, and the joke lands even with relatives who have never touched bitcoin. Pair it with a real Christmas hat for photos.
Sooner is safer. Each tee is printed to order, most orders are printed and shipped within 3 to 4 business days, and delivery in the continental US then takes about 5 days. We ship to US addresses only and cannot promise a delivery date, so order with room to spare.
Santa laughs ho ho ho, and bitcoiners say HODL when they mean holding on through ups and downs. Replacing the final ho with HODL turns a holiday greeting into an inside joke that takes about a second to land.
It is only a hat: a floppy Christmas cap with a fur band and a pom-pom, drawn in orange outline. There is no Santa figure or any other character, which keeps the design simple and lets the three words do the talking.
